deserve more praise
I am writing this letter to ask customers to be more patient when Mother Nature makes our lights go out. I think that Central Maine Power and Emera deserve more praise than complaints.
It doesn’t take just a minute for these brave men and women to work on the lines to put power back on — they have to get the major phases on, check for safety, check for down lines and trees, check for line breakage, etc.
So all I am asking is if linemen are at a restaurant eating please take time to say a thank-you for risking their lives to get us power. And if you feel you lose power too much and it’s not restored fast enough, you may want to invest in a generator.
