mistake on Jerusalem
Donald Trump has made another huge error, this time in the conflict between Palestinians and Israelis.
If he had simultaneously declared Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and recognized the Palestinian state and its capital also in Jerusalem, he may have gained respect and cooperation from both sides.
Instead, he took only the side of Israel. Whatever claim he might make of wanting to be a neutral broker of peace will be considered ridiculous. Whatever attempts the U.S. might make to facilitate a peace agreement will be fruitless for years to come.
