keeping power on
I know I am not alone in recognizing the frequency we lose the power in Madison. I know there are wind storms, ice storms, accidents and equipment failures, but we lose the power almost weekly. In one recent week alone, we lost the power three times — not for long, but long enough to be a nuisance. And we are just residential — what about the businesses in Madison? If a business is not self-contained with their own power source, that must be frustrating.
And the sun was out each time, with no wind.
The past two years have been similar. I have lived here nearly my whole life and we have never lost the power this often. So what is the issue? Complacency? Cheap parts and equipment? Lack of leadership? Any new businesses considering Madison as their venue should reconsider. Madison Electric has a serious problem keeping the power on.
