JACKMAN — The Forest Hills Mathematics Team recently received the results of its first round in the Western Class D math team competition. Out of 21 team members, 13 scored within the Top 5 of their grade level.
Forest Hills Mathematics Team’s individual results for Meet 1:
• Top 10 (all grades): Alexandra Lessard, second place; Carson Veilleux, fourth place; Demitria Giroux, fifth place; and Elise McKendry, eighth place.
• Top 5 Seniors: Carson Veilleux, third place; Demitria Giroux, fourth place; and Elise McKendry, fifth place.
• Top 5 Juniors: Alexandra Lessard, first place; Jakob Rivas and Mercedez Fernandez, tied for second place; and Cassidy Shelley and Sara Wesson, tied for third place.
• Top 5 Sophomores: Jeremiah Hale, second place; and Hunter Cuddy, third place.
• Top 5 Freshmen: Miranda Shelley, first place; and Sarah Hoyt and Aiden Obert, tied for second place.
