Lions Don Taylor and David Worthing were recently presented lifetime memberships at the Manchester Lions Club by Past President Deb Maddox.

Taylor, a Lion for more than 50 years, has been an avid supporter and volunteer, serving the Winthrop, Belgrade and Manchester Lions clubs in many events. He has been active as Blind Bowler driver and has presided over the induction of many new members and officers. He is a Melvin Jones recipient.

Worthing, a member of the Lions Club for more than 33 years, has served the club in many capacities and has filled each position at least once and others more. He has served as president twice and was voted 1984-85 Rookie of the Year for District 41.

He also has served the community in many diversified organizations such as the fire department, Maine Spirit of America Foundation, Manchester Historical Committee and North Manchester Meetinghouse Association and parade organizer for Apple Fest. He also is a Melvin Jones recipient.
