their job safely

I recently watched with horror a fuel delivery man try to get out and back in to his vehicle after making a fuel delivery to my neighbor. The traffic would not yield nor give this man space in order to do his job, then after parking his delivery truck, people sped on by at the usual 45 mph.

This delivery driver was heading south and the southbound traffic continually sped by at 45 mph (plus), entering the northbound traffic lane while crossing a double yellow line — on a curve.

The other drivers were putting this man’s life on the line — their and lack of concern and attention could kill. Please give others the right of way, as they are just trying to do their job. Stay on your own lane, stop if you have to, then pass carefully — and hang up the cellphones.
