BELFAST — The Waldo County Extension Association will hold its second annual Waldo County Farmer and Food Producer Winter Potluck Dinner at 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 10. This event will be held the United Farmers Market of Maine, 18 Spring St. A snow date is set for Feb. 24.
This event is for growers and producers of local food products to come together, network and share good food. This year the event will feature a panel of local food influencers that will talk about their predictions on upcoming food trends in 2018 and beyond. This panel will include Heather Omand from MOFGA, local chef Evan Mallet, Amanda O’Brian and Heron Breen.
Those who plan to attend are asked to bring a dish to share. The potluck and social hour will be followed by a panel at 5:30 p.m.
