An Evening of Jazz featuring Gardenia will begin at 7 p.m. Saturday Jan. 27, in the Bryant Room of the Gibbs Library, 40 Old Union Road in Washington.
The band performs music from Hollywood and Broadway by the composers of The Great American Songbook and the Golden Age of American Song. Selections include the music of Cole Porter, the Gershwins, Irving Berlin and many other popular composers.

The band features vocalist Cindy Millar of Washington performing with accompanists Spike Hyssong on bass and Dick White on guitar.
Coffee, beverages and desserts will be offered. A $5 donation is suggested.
