WINSLOW — Jack Morneault scored 21 points as the Winslow boys basketball team defeated Belfast 66-62 in a Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class B game Friday.

Colby Pomeroy added 15 points and Jake Lapierre 13 for Winslow (10-3), which outscored the Lions 34-30 in the second half for the win.

Stanley Sturgis led all scorers with 32 points, including seven 3-pointers for Belfast (6-8).

FOREST HILLS 71, HIGHVIEW CHRISTIAN 34: Brandon Gilboe scored 17 points to pace the Tigers to the Class D win at home.

Hunter Cuddy added 13 points for Forest Hills (10-5) while Carson Veilleux chipped in 12.

Highview Christian (3-9) was led by David Stanley with 17 points.

MADISON 48, DIRIGO 36: Matt Oliver scored 16 points and Sean Whalen added 13 as the Bulldogs picked up the Mountain Valley Conference victory in Madison.

Jacob Meader scored eight points for Madison (8-7).

Cooper Chiasson scored 10 points to pace Dirigo (10-5).

HALL-DALE 68, CARRABEC 43: Ashtyn Abbott scored 28 points to lead Hall-Dale in North Anson.

Alec Byron added 16 points for the Bulldogs (14-1) while Josh Nadeau and Tyler Nadeau each had six points.

Carrabec was led by Evan Holzworth with 20 points and Alex Stafford with 14.

GIRLS BASKETBALL

RANGELEY 50, KENTS HILL 43: Natasha Haley had a double-double (15 points, 11 rebounds) and Brooke Egan had a strong all-around game to lead the Lakers in Rangeley.

Egan had seven points, seven rebounds and six assists. Vanessa Bisson also had 11 points for Rangeley (12-2).

Lauren Murray scored 19 points and Tiffany McGhie had 12 points and 13 rebounds for the Huskies (9-4).

MADISON 60, DIRIGO 37: Sydney LeBlanc had 13 points and six assists to pace the Bulldogs to the MVC win in Dixfield.

Lauria LeBlanc and Lauren Hay each added 10 points for Madison (12-2), while Emily Edgerly hauled in seven rebounds.

Dirigo (4-8) was led by Sophia Jacques with 12 points.

FOREST HILLS 48, HIGHVIEW CHRISTIAN 28: Alex Lessard scored 17 points and Myranda Shelley added 14 as the Tigers took the East/West Conference victory.

Demi Giroux scored seven points for Forest Hills (4-11).

Cassidy Lessner scored eight points to lead Highview (2-11).
