JACKMAN — The Forest Hills High School Debate Team competed against Greenville and Piscataquic Community High School at GHS on Jan. 8.
Elise McKendry, a senior, and Miranda Shelley, a freshman, were the top two scorers for Forest Hills. They earned a combined score of 79.
Connor DiAngelo and Anthony Mason placed in the top 2 for Greenville’s team, with a combined score of 87.
Matthew “Billy” Griffith and Ethan Chadwick were top scorers for PCHS to combine for 82 total points.
The resolution of the debate: The United States has a moral obligation to accept undocumented immigrants.
