Two Portland-area engineering firms have merged.
Walsh Engineering of Westbrook combined with Pinkham and Greer Civil Engineers of Portland, effective Jan. 1. The merged company and all 13 employees will continue operating under the Walsh Engineering Associates name. Terms of the merger were not disclosed.
“In joining forces, we believe the merged company will offer enhanced collaboration and increased value in services for our customers,” Pinkham and Greer manager Thomas S. Greer said in a news release announcing the merger.
The combined company will continue serving architectural firms, commercial developers, private homeowners and industrial clients with its site design, environmental permitting and project management services.
Pinkham & Greer Consulting Engineers, a structural engineering firm, is a separate business entity and is not included in the merger.
