WATERVILLE — Police are searching for two men who forcefully entered a Carey Lane home Saturday and injured two residents.

The two suspects, described as being in their late teens or early 20s, wore masks and were armed with a hammer and a knife, according to Deputy Chief Bill Bonney.

Two residents of the home fought back against the suspects until the two men fled in a vehicle without taking anything from the house.

One of the residents suffered a head cut as well as other minor injuries. The second resident suffered only minor injuries.

Those with any information about the suspects or the incident are asked to contact Detective David Caron at 680-4700.
