WINSLOW — A Winslow man was arrested Wednesday morning after losing control of his vehicle and crashing into a house on Halifax Street, police said.
Marc A. Oullette, 49, who lives on Halifax Street, lost control of his vehicle and struck the corner of the home near the front doorway, according to Chief Shawn O’Leary. Oullette did not suffer any injuries during the crash, and the damage to the home was insignificant.
The officers at the scene determined Oullette was impaired and arrested him on charges of operating under the influence of drugs and driving to endanger.
Oullette was taken to the Winslow police station and evaluated by a drug recognition expert from Clinton.
He was released on unsecured bail of $500 and the condition that he not consume alcohol.
Oullette is due in court March 20.
