The fourth-seeded Lake Region girls’ basketball team rolled past No. 5 Oak Hill, 52-28, in a Class B South quarterfinal Tuesday at the Portland Expo.

Chandler True and Lauren Jakobs led the Lakers (14-3) with 14 points apiece. Lake Region made eight 3-pointers, including four in a row in the third quarter.

Desirae Dumais scored nine points for the Raiders (14-5), while Abigail Nadeau had eight.

Oak Hill jumped out to a 5-0 lead before the Lakers kicked off a 16-point run and entered halftime up 28-16.

Lake Region pulled away in the third quarter, outscoring the Raiders, 20-4.
