AUGUSTA — Augusta duplicate bridge club winners for Wednesday were Paul Sherman and Paul Mitnik, Stefanie Barley and Nina Mendall placed secon, Rosemarie Goodwin and David Offer placed third, and Van Raymond and Sharon Hinckley placed fourth.
Winners on Thursday were Anil Goswami and Les Buzzell, David Offer and Rona Backstrom placed second and Nancy Lenfest and Tony Frates placed third.
The club meets at 1 p.m. Wednesdays at Granite Hill Estates, 60 Balsam Drive, Hallowell, and 6:30 p.m. Thursdays at Kennebec Plaza, 20 Willow St., Augusta. All are welcome; a partner is guaranteed. For more information, call 485-2530.

HALLOWELL — Spectrum Generations William S. Cohen Community Center, announced its game day bridge winneron Wednesday was Paul Betit, Jackie Berry placed second and Joan McClay placed third.
Thursday’s bridge winner was Gerene LaChapelle, Sally Foster placed second and Nora Quinn placed third.

WATERVILLE — The Waterville nonsanctioned bridge club winners on Thursday were Anita Mathieu and Peggy Thompson, Betty Perry and Louie Violette placed second, Dennis Perkins and Pat Nutt place third, and Flo Fortin and Violet Chichetta placed fourth.
