The 7th annual Maine’s Got Talent will begin at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, March 10, at The Gendron Franco Center at 46 Cedar St. in Lewiston. Festivities will start with a pre-show reception at 6 p.m.

The event, modeled after “America’s Got Talent” and “American Idol,” will feature 10 pre-selected musical performers competing for cash prizes in front of a live and engaged audience. Each performer will be judged on a scale of 1 to 10 from three local celebrity judges, as well as from audience participation and feedback.

Maine’s Got Talent is an annual fundraiser for Sandcastle Clinical and Educational Services which provides a full range of clinical and educational services to individuals of all ages & abilities, and LA Hearing Center.

In the past, Maine’s Got Talent has showcased musicians ranging from eight-person house bands to lone acoustic singer-songwriters, large-scale collegiate a cappella groups to teen singers with ambition.

Tickets range in price from $25-$45 and can be purchased online at sandcastle.org or francocenter.org or call the box office at 783-1585.
