AUGUSTA — The 11th annual Literacy Volunteers of Greater Augusta’s Team Scrabble Tournament is scheduled for 1-4 p.m. Sunday, April 8, at Bangor Savings Bank, 5 Senator Way.

All levels of players are welcome. Teams can register as Competitive or Social. Tournament play will consist of three, 30-minute games. Each social team will have three minutes per turn, and each competitive team will have two minutes per turn.

Cost is $50 for adult teams, $25 for youth teams (ages 8-17), $15 for individual adults, $15 for individual youth, or $20 for family teams.

Prizes will be awarded for the highest scoring teams, there also will be door prizes and a silent auction.

All proceeds will benefit Literacy Volunteers of Greater Augusta.
