Monkitree invites Maine artists to participate in “Together is Better: The Marvel and Mystery of Fish Migration,” an art show celebrating fish migration on the healthy streams and rivers in central Maine.
The show will focus on the magic, mystery and wonder of millions of alewives returning to their natal stream when Cobbossee watershed is restored. The show coincides with World Fish Migration Day.
Artists can submit unframed 9-inch by 12-inch pieces of art on paper. To be considered for the show, email a photo of the piece to clare@monkitree.com no later than March 31.
The show will open Friday, April 20, with drop off being on or before Saturday, April 14. The show will run through June 16. All pieces submitted must be for sale.
