It appears that the United States of America may be beginning its third revolution and is being let down by the “Divider in Chief,” and would-be king, Donald J. Trump and an inept Trump (not Republican) Party. The Declaration of Independence declares that “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men” — though not women or people of color — “are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain inalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.”

Throughout our history as a nation, the United States has been— voluntarily and involuntarily — the focal point of immigration of peoples from throughout the world to join our greatly expanding and more diversified population, the melting pot. As he is doing with everything related to Obama, Trump is attempting to destroy America with his ignorance, stupidity, hatred, bigotry, lies, and denials He would reverse everything that is good about America. He would return us to total subservience to the white, Christian, rich, Anglo-Saxon tribe that we were at the beginning, before our freedom from the English monarchy.

America is strong. We, the true American people, are even stronger; and he will not destroy what has taken so long for the United States of America to achieve through the heroisms and ultimate sacrifices of so many.
