I, for one, would be very disappointed if the farmer’s market were to be moved from Castonguay Square. The location provides an intimate setting with shade, areas to sit and listen to local musicians, chat with people, enjoy one of the vendor’s products — especially Carl’s delicious pretzels — and just take in the ambience. It has such a good feel.

Does one day a week really have that much of a negative impact on the businesses on Common Street to warrant having the market relocated?
