Casey Abrams, accompanied by Portland’s Maine Youth Rock Orchestra, will perform at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, March 24, at Strand Theatre, 345 Main St. in Rockland.
Abrams is known for his wild creativity as a songwriter and performer, he has built a strong following that started with his public debut on American Idol in 2011, and continued with multiple album releases and worldwide touring with Post Modern Jukebox. The Maine Youth Rock Orchestra gives classical orchestral students (age 12-18) opportunities to perform with professional touring artists, creating transformational experiences for both students and audiences.
Tickets cost $20 in advance or $25 at the door. The Lobby and Balcony Bars are open for all live shows for 21-plus.
