WINSLOW — A Winslow woman was able to walk away without injury Thursday morning after her vehicle rolled onto its side on China Road.
Angela Fletcher, 47, of Winslow, was heading east at 7:30 a.m. in a 2008 Pontiac Grand Prix when the accident occurred, according to Lt. Josh Veilluex, of the Winslow Police Department.
Fletcher had looked into her rearview mirror, and when she looked back to the road, she saw the car in front of her slowing to turn left on to Patty’s Pond Road. Fletcher tried to brake but overcorrected, causing the vehicle to roll onto its side.
Winslow Fire and Rescue went to the scene and removed her from the vehicle.
She was cleared as being without injury by emergency medical technicians from Delta Ambulance at the accident scene.
No charges are pending.
