AUGUSTA — Going Zero Waste: Practical Tips to Reduce Your Household Trash will be the topic at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 18, at the Lithgow Public Library, 45 Winthrop St.
The average American produces 4.4 pounds of trash every day, leaving about 90,000 pounds of trash over the course of a lifetime, according to a news release from the library. “Zero Waste” is a growing movement among people who are looking to reduce the amount of trash they produce.
Join Julie Olson, adult services librarian and Zero Waste advocate, to learn steps to reduce the amount of trash your household produces.
