The Kennebec Retired Educators Association will kick off its spring season with a meeting at 11 a.m. Monday, April 9, at the Great Wall Buffet, 1 Anthony Ave. in Augusta.
The business meeting will be followed by a buffet lunch. An update on the status of the associations Benefits Trust by a representative of the Maine Educational Association will follow lunch.
Other issues to be discussed will include the MEA-Retired Annual Meeting and Convention, which will feature the KREA County display. Those who plan to attend the May meeting can sign up for that special lunch.
New members are welcome, including those educators who retired this year.
