Blessing of the Bikes and Special Olympics Benefit Ride will begin at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 19, at St. Rose of Lima Church parking lot, 1 Church St. in Jay; rain or shine.
A donation bucket will be on site, proceeds to benefit the church.
The ride will start immediately after the blessing. Poker Run will cost $5 per hand. More details will be available the day of the ride.
A barbecue will begin at 4:30 p.m. at the Lane Dube AMVETS Post 33, 2 Pine Ave in Livermore Falls. Donations will be accepted.
The event, hosted by REASON, Rides Exclusively About Supporting Our Neighbors, and Lane Dube AMVETS Post 33, will conclude with a dance from 7 to 11 p.m. at Post 33. A 50/50 and silent auction are planned.
