WATERVILLE — With the game tied in the seventh inning, Maci Leali blasted a three-run home run to give Nokomis a 9-6 win over Waterville in Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class B softball action Saturday.

Aren Herrick and Austin Leighton each had a double and a single for Nokomis (1-0) while Alyssa Ellis added three singles.

Molly Wasilewski, Elyssa Giguere and Coby Dangler each had two singles for Waterville (0-2).

LAWRENCE 8, ERSKINE 5: Haley Holt had two doubles, two singles and two RBI to spark the Bulldogs to the KVAC B win in Fairfield.

Gretta Knowlton added a double, three singles and five RBI for Lawrence (2-0) while Camryn Caldwell and Molly Folsom had two singles apiece.

Erskine (0-1) was led by Chiara Mahoney with a double and single and Mackenzie Strout with two singles.

BASEBALL

LAWRENCE 6, ERSKINE 5: Josh Dow hit a bases-loaded single with one out in the bottom of the seventh inning to give the Bulldogs the KVAC B win in Fairfield.

With one out, Zach Nickerson walked and advanced when Mackenzie Steeves singled. Nick Robinson followed with a walk to load the bases before Dow hit his game-ending single. Christian Adams added two singles and two RBI for Lawrence (2-0) while Steeves finished with two singles.

Chandler Moore led Erskine (0-1) with a double, a single and two RBI while Boomer Jorgensen had two singles.

MESSALONSKEE 6, CONY 1: Tyler Lewis had a double and a single to lead the Eagles to the KVAC A win in Augusta.

Tyler Noonan tossed a one-hitter for Messalonskee (1-0).

Mike Levesque had an RBI single for Cony (0-1) in the sixth inning.

SKOWHEGAN 5, MT. ARARAT 3: Ryan Savage had two singles to help lead the Indians to a KVAC A win over the Eagles at Colby College in Waterville.

Kiel Lachapelle had a double, while Marcus Christopher had a triple for Skowhegan (2-0). Colby Miller earned the win on the mound for the Indians.

Austin Damon had two singles for Mt. Ararat (0-1).
