AUGUSTA — Augusta duplicate bridge club winners for Wednesday were: north/south — Patricia Damon and Diane Bishop, Paul Mitnik and Paul Sherman, and Ken Harvey and Janet Arey; east/west — Debby Gardner and Jane Elliott, Mike and Pat Quinn, and Nancy Lindgren and Pete Snell.

Winners on Thursday were Les Buzzell and Tom Simmons, and David Offer and Jane Elliott tied with Paul Mitnik and Debbie Gardner.

The club meets at 1 p.m. Wednesdays at Granite Hill Estates, 60 Balsam Drive, Hallowell, and 6:30 p.m. Thursdays at Kennebec Plaza, 20 Willow St., Augusta. All are welcome; a partner is guaranteed. For more information, call 485-2530.

Fairfield Bridge Club

FAIRFIELD — The Fairfield nonsanctioned bridge club winners on Tuesday were Paul and Judy Jones, Suzon Morrison and David Bourque placed second and Elaine Campbell and Wilma Pouliot placed third.

HALLOWELL — Spectrum Generations William S. Cohen Community Center, announced its recent bridge winners.

Game day bridge winner on Wednesday was Dorothy Murray, Sue Finn placed second and Sally Foster placed third.

Bridge winner on Thursday was Joanna Burd, Gene Murray placed second and Sally Foster placed third.

WATERVILLE — The Waterville nonsanctioned bridge club winners on Thursday were Betty Perry and Barbara Haynes tied with Madeline Poulin and Lee Lenfest, Dennis Perkins and Pat Nutt placed second, Louie Violette and Francis Roy placed third, Anita Mathieu and Peggy Thompson placed fourth.
