Another sign of spring: The Portland Farmers’ Market moves back outdoors Saturday.

The outdoor market will be held from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. each Saturday in Deering Oaks park and each Wednesday in Monument Square.

Up to 38 Maine farms participate in the market, offering for sale a wide variety of local produce, farm-raised meats, dairy products, herbs, jams and jellies, pickled and fermented foods, vegetable seedlings and hanging baskets of spring plants and flowers.
