I am proud to support Janet Mills for governor.
As a prosecutor, legislator, and lifelong Mainer, Janet has always sought to the do the right thing and find the truth. Her record in the public and private sector speaks for itself. She has prosecuted serious crimes against Maine people and businesses, and she’s stood up to Gov. Paul LePage — and won — to protect health care for Maine kids and fight the opioid crisis.
Janet has sensible and detailed plans to improve Maine’s economy and expand access to health care. Importantly, she has repeatedly won elections in rural Maine, and she has a reputation and credibility that will help Democrats win statewide in November.
No one can deny that Janet is authentic, tough, and smart. It’s true that Janet Mills will bring serious experience and know-how to the governor’s office. Given our crazy political times, that’s a good thing. Join me in voting for Janet Mills on June 12.
