This letter is in support of our mayor, Nick Isgro. This man has been dragged through the mud by mean-spirited outside and local interests. What has this man done? He made a three-word comment about an incident that took place 2,500 miles from our town.
What else has he done? How about revitalized the downtown area. He has brought jobs to Waterville. He cares a great deal for this town, more than some mayors in the past could wish to.
We should count ourselves lucky to have this man working for us. The City Council needs to stop all the grandstanding and get back to business.
