Laura Fortman would be a great state senator to represent Lincoln County. I’ve known her for years as she worked to create jobs, provide child care for working parents, ensure health care for all, and provide paid sick leave and family leave to employees.
Having run the Department of Labor for eight years, she understands how government works, from budgets to policy to forging common-sense solutions to get things done.
I care passionately about land conservation and environmental protection. I know that we can count on Laura to protect our lakes, rivers, and streams, our wildlife habitat, our clean air, and our coastline — not some of the time, but all the time.
