CONCORD, N.H. — Gas prices have gone up slightly in northern New England.

GasBuddy’s daily survey of gas outlets in New Hampshire and Maine found that average retail gasoline prices in the state have risen half a penny cents in the past week, to an average of $2.74 per gallon in New Hampshire and $2.81 in Maine. The price went up slightly in Vermont to an average of $2.79 per gallon.

The national average has increased nearly 14.5 cents per gallon in the last month and stands 46.5 cents per gallon higher than a year ago.
