AUGUSTA — Carly Lettre homered twice to power the Cony High School softball team to a 12-5 win over Camden Hills in a Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class A game Monday afternoon.

The Rams (2-4) scored six runs in the fifth inning to pull away. Gaby McGuire earned the win in the circle and pounded out four hits to help her own cause, while Cari Hopkins added a double as part of a three-hit day.

Gillian LaFleche had three hits for Camden Hills (1-7).

GARDINER 20, ERSKINE 2: Jazmin Clary hit a double and two triples to help Gardiner take the KVAC B win in South China.

Jill Bisson added a double for Gardiner (6-1), while Meghan Meehan hit three singles for the Tigers. Haley Brann contributed a single and triple for Gardiner.

Parker King, Summer Hotham, and Olivia Wyman each singled for Erskine (1-5).

CARRABEC 13, HALL-DALE 5: Bailey Dunphy had two home runs and three RBIs to lead the Cobras to a Mountain Valley Conference win over the Bulldogs in North Anson.

Cheyenne Sirois had two singles and three RBIs, while Sam LeBeau had a single and double for Carrabec (6-2). Melanie Clark smacked a triple.

Isabella Marino had a home run and two RBIs for Hall-Dale (3-4). Jill Whynot had a triple, while Sarah Benner and Grace Begin each had three hits.

BASEBALL

CONY 11, CAMDEN HILLS 10: Kyle Douin singled with two outs in the bottom of the seventh to score Ashton Cunningham and Matt Wozniak and make the Rams’ first victory of the season a walk-off in Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference A action in Augusta.

Douin had two hits, as did Elijah Bezanson, while Mike Boivin got the win for Cony (1-5) and Bobby Stolt struck out four while allowing one earned run in six innings of relief.

Ionut Lodge had two hits, including a home run, for the Windjammers (2-6).

GIRLS LACROSSE

MESSALONSKEE 22, GARDINER 1: Chloe Tilley had five goals and two assists as the Eagles raced out to a 19-0 lead at halftime and never looked back in the KVAC game at Thomas College.

Ally Turner added four goals and five assists for Messalonskee (3-2). Lauren Pickett scored three times.

Evelyn Hinkley had the lone goal for Gardiner (1-2).

CONY 12, MGA 6: Faith Leathers-Pouliot scored five goals to lead the Rams to the win in Portland.

Sarah Caron added two goals and an assist for Cony (3-2), while Tammy Lambert also scored a pair of goals.

Catherine Reed had all six goals for Maine Girls Academy (1-3).
