SOUTH CHINA — Jordan Linscott scored four goals to help Erskine earn its first win of the season 9-7 while handing Lawrence its first loss in girls lacrosse action Wednesday.

Joanna Linscott added two goals while Alyssa Savage, Cassidy Wade and Tori Grasse each had one apiece for Erskine (1-2). Ashlyn Wing made seven saves.

Cass Poli had a hat trick for Lawrence (4-1) while Lexi Lewis chipped in two goals and Nora Buck and Lexi Dumont had one each. Sierra Weston made nine saves.

GARDINER 9, CAMDEN HILLS 4: Four different players scored two goals apiece to lead the Tigers to the win in Rockport.

Bailey Poole, Michaela Gardner, Madisyn Smith and Evelyn Hinkley each had two goals while Maddie Walker added one. Julia Hinkley made seven saves for Gardiner (2-2).

Caroline Contento had a hat trick for Camden Hills (1-4) and Ella Pierce added two goals. Charlotte Leparulo stopped 13 shots.

OXFORD HILLS 21, CONY 5: Lauren Coniff scored two goals, but it wasn’t enough for the Rams, who fell in South Paris.

Sophie Whitney and Sierra Clark each had goals, while Linelys Velazquez had a goal and an assist for Cony (3-3). Sarah Cook-Wheeler had seven saves.

Maggie Hartnett scored five goals and had two assists for Oxford Hills (4-1). Cecilia Dieterich and Caroline Burns each added three goals. Tiana James had six saves.

SOFTBALL

ERSKINE 10, MARANACOOK 3: MaKenzie Strout had two doubles, a single and two RBIs to lead the Eagles to the Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference win in Readfield.

Chiara Mahoney added a double and a single for Erskine (2-6) and Hunter Hoague had two singles and three RBIs. Madison Boynton and Kayla Hodgkins also had two singles apiece.

Brooke Stratton and Natalie Costa each singled for Maranacook (3-6).

SKOWHEGAN 10, CONY 0: Ashley Alward and Sydney Ames combined for a no-hitter, striking out 14 batters for the Indians in a win.

Ames had two doubles, while Alyssa Everett had three singles for Skowhegan (8-0). Sydney Reed had two hits, including a triple.

Cony falls to 2-6.

MESSALONSKEE 7, HAMPDEN 2: The Eagles used big innings to post the KVAC A win in Hampden.

Taylor Bernier had a pair of hits for Messalonskee (7-2), which scored twice in the second, three times in the third and twice more in the seventh. Hannah Cummings had a double and a single in the win.

Eagle pitchers Danielle Hall and Katelyn Douglass combined on a six-hitter with 10 strikeouts to counter a home run and two doubles from Hampden (2-6) slugger Brooklynn Scott.

HALL-DALE 17, DIRIGO 6: Down 4-1 in the fourth, the Bulldogs scored six runs to take the lead for good, then scored eight more times in the sixth to run away with the MVC victory in Dixfield.

Jill Whynot tripled and Isabella Marino doubled for Hall-Dale (4-4), while Sarah Benner got the win with five-plus innings of relief. Aubrey Nichols had a pair of singles.

Katie Morse homered for the Cougars (2-6), while Alexa Varnum doubled.

BASEBALL

RICHMOND 11, NYA 0, 5 innings: Zach Small pitched a complete game one-hitter, striking out eight and walking one to lead the Bobcats to the win in Yarmouth.

Trystin Shea had two singles and three RBIs for Richmond (5-0) while Andrew Vachon added a double and a single.

Daniel Zajkowski had the lone hit for the Panthers (1-4).

SKOWHEGAN 9, CONY 2: Ryan Savage had two doubles and Colby Esty pitched a complete-game five hitter to lead the Indians to the KVAC A win at home.

Esty struck out eight on the mound. Kiel Lachapelle had three singles for Skowhegan (5-4) while Colby Miller and Aidan Louder had two singles each.

Mike Levesque had a double and a single for Cony (1-6).

MONMOUTH 13, BOOTHBAY 0, 5 innings: Tom Neal had two singles and three RBIs to pace the host Mustangs to the Mountain Valley Conference win.

Corey Armstrong added two singles and two RBIs for Monmouth (5-2) while Carlos Garcia chipped in two singles.

Will Labrecque and Jacob Wilson had a single each for Boothbay (1-8).

WINTHROP 7, MT. ABRAM 1: Ryan Baird pitched a complete game two-hitter to lead the Ramblers to the MVC win in Salem.

Jackson Ladd had two singles for Winthrop (4-3).

Bryce Werzanski had a double and a single for the Roadrunners (4-4).

HALL-DALE 11, DIRIGO 6: Akira Warren had four hits, including a double, and two RBIs to help lead the Bulldogs to the MVC victory in Dixfield.

Alec Byron had two singles and two RBIs, while Jacob Brown had two singles for Hall-Dale (8-0). Cole Lockhart picked up the win, going all seven innings.

Cam Turner homered for Dirigo (4-4).
