WINSLOW — Winning pitcher Paige Trask had three doubles and as many RBIs as the Winslow softball team powered to a 10-4 win over Leavitt in a Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class B game Friday at Laverdiere Field.

Bailey Robbins had a double, two single and scored two runs for Winslow (8-2), which scored nine runs in the second inning.

CARRABEC 13, MT. ABRAM 1, 5 INN.: The Cobras scored in every inning en route to the easy Mountain Valley Conference win in North Anson.

Bailey Dunphy had three hits and scored four runs for Carrabec (7-3), with Samantha LeBeau adding two hits and three runs scored. Mackenzie Baker had a two-run single in the win.

Baylie McLaughlin, Kiley Holt and Victoria Glidden had hits for Mt. Abram (0-8).

MESSALONSKEE 16, BRUNSWICK 0, 5 INN.: The Eagles started off with nine runs in the first inning and were off to the KVAC win in Oakland.

Taylor Baker had a pair of hits for Messalonskee (8-2), and Taylor Berner added two hits.

GIRLS LACROSSE

LAWRENCE 15, CAMDEN HILLS 9: Cass Poli scored seven goals to lead the Bulldogs to a win over the Windjammers in Fairfield.

Nora Buck scored three goals for Lawrence (5-2), while Lexie Dumont, Anna Castonguay, Savannah Weston, Lexi Lewis and Megan Belmont each added a goal. Sierra Weston had 12 saves.

Olivia Powers had four goals for Camden Hills (1-4).

CHEVERUS 17, MESSALONSKEE 16: Max Coffin scored five goals and Colby Anton and Chris St. John had four apiece to lift the Stags (2-5) to the victory in Portland.

Dawson Charles had five goals for the Eagles (4-2), while Austin Pelletier and Josh Languet had four apiece. Alden Balboni scored three goals and Wade Carter made 10 saves.

BASEBALL

MESSALONSKEE 8, BRUNSWICK 2: Ben Hellen had three hits, drove in two runs and scored two more to lead the Eagles to the KVAC win in Oakland.

Tyler Lewis chipped in with two hits and two runs scored for Messalonskee (5-5). Parker Poulin had a single and an RBI.

Brunswick dropped to 3-8.

MOUNTAIN VALLEY 4, BRIDGEWAY 3: Hunter Ames was the winning pitcher and drove in two runs as the Falcons won the MVC tilt in Rumford.

Ames had a triple in support of his own cause for Mountain Valley (5-2).

Eric Wescott and Evan Bess each drove in runs for Bridgeway (4-5).
