A 23-year-old Jefferson man was issued a summons on a charge of driving to endanger on Sunday after his car ended up on top of a parked car in the parking lot of the McDonald’s restaurant on Bridge Street in Gardiner.
Andrew M. Foster, who was driving a Subaru Impreza, was issued a summons in connection with the crash.
Gardiner Police Chief James Toman said via email that city police responded to the report of an accident at the restaurant at 7:15 p.m.
Foster’s Subaru had been driven on top of a parked PT Cruiser in the McDonald’s parking lot. It’s not clear how that happened and Toman did not immediately respond to requests for further comment Monday.
In all, three vehicles were involved and two were incapacitated and towed from the scene, the chief said in the email.
