Lions Pride Community Market Memorial Day event will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 26, at Gardiner/Augusta Lions Club, Lions Club House, 25 Lions Ave., Gardiner.

The event will include a plant and garden sale, barbecue cookout, and Farm, Flea, Crafts & Fix.

The barbecue will feature grillmasters Lion Arthur and Lion John, and the plant and garden sale will feature Nettie’s Perennials.

Plants can be donated for the sale Friday afternoon.

Proceeds will benefit needy families in Gardiner and Augusta.

The Gardiner/Augusta Lions Club meets at 6:30 p.m. the second Monday of the month.
