WATERVILLE — The Planning Board on Monday will consider plans to convert the former Goudreau’s Retirement Inn on College Avenue into apartments.

The meeting in scheduled for 7 p.m. in the council chamber on the third floor of The Center at 93 Main St. downtown.

BFP LLC is expected to present an informal application to the board for the apartment proposal to be reviewed under the multifamily developments section of the city’s zoning ordinance and part of the site plan review and subdivision ordinances.

The developer will ask that 110 College Ave. be rezoned from Residential-B and Commercial-C to Contract Zoned District/Commercial-A to allow for transforming the building to apartments.

In other matters Monday, the board will consider a request by Thomas College to review a previously approved plan to expand its trail system. The board will review the plan under the subdivision and site plan review ordinance and the shoreland zoning section of the zoning ordinance.

Also, 295 KMD LLC will request review of revisions to a previously approved plan for the expansion of Penny Hill Park on Kennedy Memorial Drive, and Assistance Plus will ask the board to review a sign for its site at 3 Michael Lane.
