The Skowhegan Parks & Recreation Department will host the Moose on the Loose Bed Races at 7 p.m. Friday, June 8, at the Skowhegan Fairgrounds Grandstand, 33 Constitution Ave. The event is part of the Moose Festival.

Teams of five can register at the Skowhegan Community Center, 39 Poulin Drive. Team registration will cost $10, beds will be provided. Teams are encouraged to wear moose themed clothing (antlers, costumes, T-shirts, etc.). Awards will be presented for the winning team, fastest team and most creatively dressed team.
