WAYNE — A Meet the Candidates event is set for 7 p.m. Thursday, June 7, at Cary Library’s Williams House, 41 Old Winthrop Road.

Six people seek election or re-election for three selectperson positions. They are Amy Black, Elaine Christopher, Stan Davis, Stephanie Haines, Lloyd Irland and Cindy Pettengill.

The event will include introductions, questions from the floor and other informative conversation moderated by Doug Stevenson, followed by an informal reception with light refreshments.
