AUBURN — The Winslow girls lacrosse team’s undefeated start has reached double figures. And the Black Raiders had to work to get it there.

Silver Clukey and Sarah Stevens each scored five goals to lead the Black Raiders to a 13-10 win over Edward Little in a Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference matchup.

Savannah Joler, Alyssa Currie and Hailey Grenier each added goals for Winslow (10-0). Carrie Selwood had 10 saves.

Megan Steele had four goals for Edward Little (4-5).

MESSALONSKEE 17, BANGOR 2: Lauren Pickett and Jenna Cassani each scored three goals to lead the Eagles to a win over the Rams in Bangor.

Aly Turners notched two goals for Messalonskee (6-3). Kaitlyn Smith, Chloe Tilley, Gabby Smart, Katie Seekins, Jenna Nash, Abby Barney, Sophia Fortini, Paige Meader and Ainsely Corson added goals for the Eagles.

Giovanna Tompkins led Bangor (0-9) with two goals.

SOFTBALL

LISBON 6, CARRABEC 5: Sam Lebeau had two hits, including a triple, but it wasn’t enough for the Cobras, who fell to the Greyhounds in a Mountain Valley Conference game in Lisbon.

Carrabec falls to 9-5.

Brittany Norman had two triples, while Giana Russo and Mallory Fairbanks added triples for Lisbon (9-4).

SKOWHEGAN 11, HAMPDEN 2: Sydney Ames and Ashley Alward combined to throw a one-hitter and lead Skowhegan to the KVAC A win in Hampden.

Ames homered and singled for Skowhegan (14-0), while Alward singled and doubled. Mariah Dunbar had two singles for the Indians.

Sydney Hatch had the lone Hampden (6-8) hit.

BREWER 17, WINSLOW 2, 5 INN.: The Witches scored eight runs in the third inning on the way to the KVAC B win in Winslow.

MJ Sellars hit two home runs for Brewer (14-0), scored three runs, and drove in three. Kenzie Dore hit two doubles and a single for the Witches and scored a pair of runs. Olivia Cattan added two runs and two RBI for Brewer.

Winslow is now 9-5.

OXFORD HILLS 12, ERSKINE 0, 5 INN.: Five Vikings had at least two hits in the KVAC win in South Paris.

Kenzie Kahkonen hit a single and triple for Oxford Hills. Four Eagles each had a single.
