As a father, grandfather and school teacher, Alan is a thoughtful, down to earth, compassionate individual who listens to, engages with, and advocates for all people. As a veteran, he is dedicated to helping disabled vets and has given his time and talents to the Travis Mills Foundation. As a lifelong Mainer, he has worked countless hours volunteering in food pantries and soup kitchens, giving back to his community.
