AUGUSTA — Several city residents are among those indicted on drug trafficking charges by a grand jury sitting in Kennebec County.

An indictment is not a determination of guilt, but it indicates that there is enough evidence to proceed with formal charges and a trial.

Maurice Wilson, also known as Maurice Anthony Wilson II, Tony Wilson and Sosa, 37, of Augusta,was indicted on charges of aggravated trafficking and unlawful trafficking in cocaine, and violating conditions of release Jan. 8, 2018; aggravated trafficking and unlawful trafficking in heroin and violation of conditions of release Jan. 29, 2018; aggravated trafficking and unlawful trafficking in cocaine base and violation of conditions of release March 1, 2018; and unlawful possession of cocaine base and violation of conditions of release March 19, 2018, all in Augusta.

Jaci Beane, also known as Jaci M. Beane and Jaci Annemarie Beane, 24, of Augusta, was indicted on two counts each of unlawful trafficking in heroin and cocaine base, Feb. 1 and Feb. 6, 2018; four counts of aggravated trafficking — indicating the offense took place in an area designated as a drug-safe zone Feb. 16-March 5, 2018, and violation of condition of release March 5, 2018, all in Augusta.

Jon Brotherton, also known as John Joseph Brotherton, 45, of Augusta, and Tabitha L. Luczkowski, 28, of Windsor, was indicted on a charge of unlawful trafficking in cocaine base March 5, 2018, in Augusta.

A number of other people were indicted Thursday by the same grand jury:

• Jonathan E. Ayer, 21, of Belgrade, criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon and assault March 21, 2018, in Belgrade.

• Blaine S. Baker, 21, of Augusta, four counts of possession of sexually explicit materials depicting children under 12, all Aug. 23, 2017, in Augusta.

• Stephen T. Bard, 45, of Albion, aggravated assault Oct. 20, 2017, in Gardiner.

• Deborah A. Bashaw, 56, of Dexter, theft by unauthorized taking Nov. 22, 2017, in Waterville.

• Shantasia N. Bethea-Lucas, 26, of Augusta, and Jahsun Campbell, 28, of Bronx, New York, two counts of unlawful trafficking in cocaine base, Nov. 1 and Nov. 14, 2018, in Waterville.

• Percy T. Dixon, 46, of Gardiner, operating after revocation and operating without a license Nov. 15, 2017, in Gardiner.

• Brandon M. Dunton, 18, of Clinton, arson Feb. 13, 2018, in a fire involving a pickup truck on the property of Chris Blanchard in Clinton.

• Dylan Nathaniel Hendsbee, 26, of West Gardiner, aggravated trafficking in cocaine, violation of condition of release and criminal forfeiture of $340 cash seized on Cony Street, all March 4, 2018, in Augusta.

• Ronald Hinkley, 28, of North Monmouth, burglary, theft by unauthorized taking, criminal mischief and stealing drugs, all March 9, 2018, in Monmouth.

• Burleigh D. Lewis, 37, of West Gardiner, tampering with a victim, violation of condition of release and domestic violence assault, all Dec. 6-27, 2017, in Augusta.

• Steve B. Madsen, 23, of West Gardiner, aggravated unlawful furnishing of cocaine and unlawful possession of a substance containing cocaine, both March 4, 2018, in Augusta.

• Nicholas P. Manocchia, 36, of Waterville, theft by deception, misuse of identification and five counts of forgery Oct. 5, 2017-Jan. 27, 2018, all in Waterville.

• Gilberto N. Milian-Pizzaro, 43, of Gardiner, aggravated assault, aggravated criminal trespass, reckless conduct with a dangerous weapon, a knife, and assault, all Dec. 27, 2017, in Gardiner.

• Marc A. Ouellette, 49, of Winslow, aggravated criminal mischief, criminal operating under the influence and driving to endanger, all Jan. 31, 2018, in Winslow.

• Paige M. Peaslee-Jones, 21, of Augusta, assault on a child less than 6 years old and aggravated assault, both July 4, 2017, in Augusta.

• Roland Pelletier, 62, of Winthrop, eluding an officer, criminal speed and driving to endanger, all March 1, 2018, in Monmouth; eluding an officer, criminal operating under the influence, criminal speed and violation of condition of release, March 18, 2018, in Monmouth.

• Ashley C. Pugh, 33, of Vassalboro, criminal operating under the influence and operating after suspension April 22, 2018, in Waterville.

• Michael L. Trevino, 38, of Readfield, domestic violence assault, possession of a firearm by a prohibited person and criminal mischief Oct. 1, 2017, in Manchester.

• Benjamin York, 23, of Winthrop, unlawful trafficking in fentanyl, unlawful possession of heroin, unlawful possession of Suboxone and violation of condition of release Feb. 28, 2018, in Augusta.
