Past performance is often an indication of future success. In his two terms as a state legislator, Jared Golden’s record of getting things done is impressive. As a first-term legislator he was able to get bills passed that helped veterans, and were good for the environment. He also worked to improve the infrastructure of the city of Lewiston. In his second term, his ability to get things done was recognized, as he was chosen by his peers to serve as the Democratic assistant majority leader.
As a decorated combat Marine, Jared is a proven fighter. I have personally seen how hard he works at his family business in Leeds, often doing the hard jobs no one likes to do because they need doing.
