MONMOUTH — The Monmouth baseball team scored three runs in the final two innings to earn a 6-4 Mountain Valley Conference win over Dirigo on Monday.

Trevor Flanagan had three singles and three RBIs for Monmouth (12-4) while Brad Neal added two singles. Avery Pomerleau earned the win on the mound.

Cam Turner and Chase Thebarge singled twice each for Dirigo (6-10).

SOFTBALL

MONMOUTH 14, DIRIGO 2: Mariah Herr had five singles to pace the host Mustangs to the MVC win.

Abby Flanagan and Emma Johnson added two singles apiece for Monmouth (11-5) while Emily Kaplan and Abby Ferland each tripled.

Dirigo (3-13) was led by Alexa Varnum with two doubles.

OAK HILL 14, MOUNTAIN VALLEY 2: Mikayla Buckmore had a triple, a double and a single along with two RBIs to lead the Raiders to the MVC win in Rumford.

Kiera Young added a triple and a double for Oak HIll (13-3) while Molly Flaherty had three singles and an RBI and Kaitlyn Ridley had a double, a single and two RBIs.

Saydie Garbarini had a double, a single and an RBI for the Falcons (0-15).
