I don’t pay much attention to the state office races until the day before voting. Not this time, though, because of Chloe Maxmin, Democratic candidate for House District 88.

Her entire persona makes me want her as our representative. Until now, my voting record was largely negative, to vote against someone. Now I have met someone besides Angus King who is inspiring.

Chloe reminds me of King with her straight talk and concern for fairness. She will represent us with charm, dedicated advocacy, and strength.

I learned of her background and her Lincoln County roots, a super education, and early and consistent community service in activities that raise standards for those in District 88.

I believe we have a future important leader in our midst, and it is Chloe Maxmin. Join me in voting for Chloe in the June 12 Democratic primary.
