WATERVILLE — Starting Monday, traffic entering The Concourse from Appleton Street downtown will be redirected for about three weeks because site work will occur at the rear of the Colby College mixed-use residential construction project, as well as in The Concourse driveway, according to Paul Ureneck, director of commercial real estate for Elm City LLC, an affiliate of Colby.

Access to The Concourse from Appleton will be closed for both vehicular and pedestrian safety. Because patrons of Waterville Public Library typically park in the nine spaces in that area, “temporary library parking” signs will be posted a few feet away in the adjacent Concourse lot. The sidewalk to Appleton Street will remain open.
