Two people were charged with aggravated drug trafficking after a drug dog sniffed out 263 grams of crack cocaine in their vehicle Friday night in South Portland, according to Maine State Police.

Gregory Martin of Bronx, New York, and Augusta and Holly York of Rockland had been traveling north on the Maine Turnpike Friday night when state police stopped their car on Interstate 295 in South Portland, according to Steve McCausland, spokesman for the Maine Department of Public Safety. A canine search uncovered the drugs, and Martin and York were both taken to the Cumberland County Jail in Portland, where bail was set at $25,000 each.

Gregory also had an outstanding warrant from New York from 2013, for a parole violation stemming from drug charges, according to McCausland.
