WATERVILLE — Kennebec Valley Community Action Program will host its fourth annual Community Celebration from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, June 9, at Educare Central Maine, attached to the George J. Mitchell School, 58 Drummond Ave.
This free family friendly event will include a climbing wall, bounce house, petting zoo, face painting, cookie decorating, a temporary tattoo station and more. A luncheon barbecue will be served from noon to 1 p.m., and Darling’s Ice Cream Truck will be on site.
This year there will be a variety of special guests, including Snow White, Belle, Cinderella, Moana, Princess Elsa, Batman, Captain America, the Tooth Fairy and the Cookie Monster.
In addition, KVCAP tables will be spread throughout the venue, offering program information along with children’s activities, so that adults can learn more about available services and how to access them while the children are entertained.
