Sierra M. Weston, daughter of Angela Pease Weston, of Winthrop, and Jeff Weston, of Waterville, has received an appointment to the class of 2022 at the United States Military Academy at West Point. Weston’s father is a retired U.S. Army officer, and her mother and grandfather (Skip Pease, of South Thomaston) are graduates of the United States Military Academy.
Weston is scheduled to graduate with high honors from Lawrence High School in June, where she was a member of National Honor Society, Pride and History clubs, and the cross country, swim and lacrosse teams.
The appointed members of the class of 2022 will report for the first time on July 2 to West Point.
